About us

Walking through an open-air museum with the most experienced guides in Prague

Dear, we are I Love Prague. We are a young, originally Dutch, tour operator in the Czech capital, Prague. We started I Love Prague because we are in love with this European capital. We are a club of the most experienced guides in the city. Our guides often have over 10 years of experience leading tours in Prague. Some of our guides are even among the top 10 most knowledgeable guides in the city. This means we can rely on a wealth of experience. Our guides have worked for the largest tour operators in the city. Unfortunately, none of them felt they belonged there anymore. Fortunately, all our guides at I Love Prague have found an interesting new challenge.

Besides all of us currently living entirely in Prague, we're naturally still interested in other European cities and visit them frequently. But no matter how beautiful a city like Rome or Berlin is, we don't immediately feel the same way we do when we step out of the airport or Prague Central Station.

Besides booking the best tours on our website, you can also learn a lot about sights in or near Prague, such as Theresienstadt or the Sedlec Ossuary in Kutná Hora. You can also find tips on restaurants, charming cafes, and nightlife. You'll also find travel tips on reliable taxi companies and how public transport works. I Love Prague is the largest online travel guide about Prague. It's also good to know that when you book a tour with us, you receive unlimited access to our website, including rare premium articles.

Since the beginning of 2026, we also manage the most informative YouTube channel about the city of Prague.

What makes us unique? Why choose us for the best?

True local experience: In Prague, our team is true local because, unlike our competitors, many grew up there or have been coming and living here for years. They often have years of experience as guides, often more than 10 years. The less experienced guides are supervised by our experienced historians.

The best trained: All our guides are, of course, properly certified and hold the national guide card issued by the Ministry. However, we go much further than the usual, as we believe standard training is insufficient. When a guide joins us, they receive an active education and internal training program. During this intensive program, in the first month, we not only teach the guide our main tour but also truly understand the profession of guiding. Guiding is more than just telling stories. Our mentors guide our guides intensively and passionately. We truly prioritize quality over quantity. A 4.9 out of 5 rating on Google confirms this.

Unique experiences: Whether you book one of our free walking tours, a private tour , or one of our day trips, the experience will always be unique. We have by far the smallest groups in Prague. We try to limit our groups to 20 people. Other providers easily take 30 people on a tour, which makes the experience much less unique.

Our own staff: While our industry frequently uses freelancers, we deliberately avoid them. All guides in Prague are employed by us and share our DNA. Because the guides are directly employed by us, we can offer the most competitive prices. They are all trained internally by us, making them among the best professionals in the city.

Extensive experience with students: We understand better than anyone that schools and students often have limited budgets. Therefore, we can offer our tours and day trips at very competitive rates, especially for school groups. All guides are employed directly by us; we don't work with expensive freelancers. We can pass this advantage on to your school.

The widest selection: In Prague, we offer four different tours daily. During the busy month of December, this number increases to five. We also have two different scheduled day trips. For private groups, we can also create a customized tour. This doesn't necessarily have to be on foot, but can also be done by bike, for example.

I Love Walking

I Love Walking was launched in early 2025 with the ultimate goal of offering the best tours not only in Prague but ultimately worldwide. I Love Walking aims to become the largest walking community in the world. Soon, you'll only need one place anywhere in the world to book the best tours.

In addition to Prague, we are currently active in the Czech city of Brno and the Slovakian capital, Bratislava. Behind the scenes, we are also in intensive discussions with partners to join the I Love Walking family.
