Tour guide in Prague

I Love Prague, or actually, We Love Prague would have been more fitting (because we have already noticed in a short time that there are many more Pragophiles, as we are sometimes called), is looking for tour guides.

What is I Love Prague?
I Love Praag was founded in 2022 based on an idea by Huig den Boer, an avid Prague visitor (at least once a year), who wanted to share his love and knowledge of the city with other interested individuals. Often, when planning a city trip, the guidebooks from the local bookstore simply aren't enough. These booklets often contain information about the most famous square, the most famous or largest church, a few well-known museums, and the city's tallest tower. With a bit of luck, they might mention one park worth visiting. In Prague, however, you miss dozens of hidden gems with such a guide. This is precisely the reason behind I Love Praag. I Love Praag aims to be one of the most comprehensive information websites about the City of Prague. We report on the city almost daily with tips and articles on interesting sights, the best restaurants, and the coziest bars, but we also provide practical tips on how public transport works, for example. We do this with great passion, as statistics clearly show that our articles have been seriously viewed since day one—something we had only dared to dream of. Huig already had experience giving tours, including in the city of Prague, and that is how the idea arose to start offering excursions in and around Prague. What we could only have dreamed of was the fact that we were able to make 22 participants happy during the first official tour.

Who are we looking for?
We are, of course, looking for people who share our love for Prague and possess just as much knowledge of the city as we do. There are part-time opportunities, as well as full-time positions, on a contract basis or as a freelancer. Even if you are only available for a few days a month or year and this sounds like a fun hobby, for example, it is still worthwhile to apply. We conduct our tours in English, Dutch, and German, but we nevertheless encourage you to apply even if you do not speak all three languages fluently, but perhaps only two.

Please note that a basic knowledge test of Prague is part of the procedure. This is because we want to maintain the extremely high quality of our tours.
