Brno Tour: Czech Republic's Second City

Discover the historic heart of Brno on a free walking tour in English.

Explore Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, with our expert guides. Discover that the Czech Republic has more to offer than just Prague. Our tour starts at the famous Church of St. Thomas, and from there we visit all the main monuments and buildings. We arrive at the central square, Náměstí Svobody (Freedom Square), where we see the famous Plague Column and of course the Astronomical Clock of Brno. After the square we visit, among other places, the Old Town Hall. We finish our tour at Špilberk Castle. At the end of the tour you receive tips for other activities in Brno, including some good restaurant recommendations. Along the way you will see highlights such as the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the Astronomical Clock, Freedom Square (the main square of the city), the Vegetable Market, Špilberk Castle and more, guided by a local who truly knows the city. After the tour you also get handy tools to explore Brno like a local: a map of public toilets, places to eat, ATMs and even our personal "Black List" (yes, those places we would rather you avoid 😉). Everything is carefully put together to make your stay easier, tastier and more authentic.
